The nineteenth edition of the "Erste Guitar Art" festival will be held from March 16th to 21st, under the slogan "BE CONNECTED".
This year, the festival will justify the status of one of the five largest guitar festivals in the world, with over 100 participants from 25 countries around the world. During six concert nights and 10 concerts, the audience will be presented with an attractive selection of world musicians from the classics, fad, blouse, flamenco and jazz music.
The festival begins with the concert of the Brazilian dua Assad brothers, which will be held in the big hall of the Youth Center of Belgrade on March 16th. Sergio and Odair Assad are one of the best dua of the world, and the Belgrade audience returns after 13 years.
In addition to the concert of the biggest Portuguese diva Dulse Ponte on March 20th at the Sava Center, the Youth Center of Belgrade will be a festival center this year with four evenings and 10 concerts of artists such as Joaquin Clerch, Puerto Flamenco, Duo Melis, Pacho Flores & Jesus "Pinguino" Gonzales , Duo Mushkalica, Srdjan Bulatovic and Darko Nikcevic, as well as the new project Guitar Day Belgrad festival with a big free concert of the American blues trio Michael Hell.
This year's closing ceremony is dedicated to the project "Guitar Integration 2", which is held with the support of the EU Delegation in Serbia and the EU Info Center. The project gathers 4 composers who will compose a new piece "European Guitar Suite" under the mentorship of Dušan Bogdanović. Composers Aleksandar Sedlar, Nejc Kuhar, Golfam Khayam and Marek Pasieci will perform the premiere of the new work on March 21 with the participation of the World Guitar Orchestra and the Elsystem Youth Synphonic Orchestra.
Tickets are on sale in the network Eventim.rs and the ticket office of the Youth Center of Belgrade. Ticket prices for the Dulse Ponteš concert range from 1,490 to 3,290 dinars, while tickets for concerts in the Youth House of Belgrade range from 600 to 1300 dinars.
